  • CoWin Portal & Aarogya Setu App Started Covid-19 Vaccination Registration; Not Working For Some Users.

The Union Health Ministry said on Monday that the Co-win app on Play Store is meant for use only by administrators, and that registration and booking for appointment for COVID-19 vaccination has to be done through the portal.


This was clarified by the ministry amid reported glitches in doing registrations as India opened up vaccination for senior citizens and those aged 45 and above with comorbidities. "Registration and booking for appointment for #COVID19 vaccination is to be done through #CoWIN Portal: www.cowin.gov.inb. There is NO #CoWIN App for beneficiary registration. The App on Play Store is for administrators only," the ministry tweeted.

The service of the broadband will be available as per the regulatory approvals. There might be users that won’t get the services at all. As per the reports from other countries, the price of pre-ordering is $499 in Australia, the USA, and Mexico that includes the elements like cables, power supply, wifi router, and mounting Tripod along with Starlink.

  • UPI Transactions Register First Dip In Volume Since April 2020

The volume and value of transactions on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in February fell marginally from the previous month, data released on Monday showed. While Indians transacted 2.29 billion times on the UPI against 2.30 billion in January, total transaction value stood at ₹4.25 trillion, down from ₹4.31 trillion in January.


UPI volumes have been growing 1-3% since November 2020 after seeing double-digit monthly growth through 2020, as the pandemic fuelled digital payments. February’s minor decline may be due to fewer days in a month.
