  • Facebook, Twitter Officials Summoned by Parliamentary Panel On Jan 21.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology has Summoned Facebook and Twitter officials over the misuse of Social media on January 2021.
The Committee will hear the officials views on the subject of 'Safeguarding citizens' rights and prevention of misuse of Social/Online news media platforms.

In October 2020, representative of companies, including Facebook and Twitter had been summoned to appear before the parliamentary committee regarding data protection and privacy issues.


  • Zuckerberg, Facebook Partially responsible for US capitol riots : US Rep

US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of NewYork, during a town hall meeting, said that Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook "bear partial responsibility" for the US capitol Violence on January 6.


Facebook is currently trying to do as much damage control as possible, stated by her. She further said that facebook has a complete lack of accountability to democracy.


  • Apple testing foldable screen prototypes for iphones.
Apple has developed prototype foldable screens for iphones and has started testing them internally. The Company is however , only testing the screen prototypes rather than a full iphone models. This screens have almost invisible hinges.


Like Samsung's Galaxy Fold and Motorola's Razr reboot and other offerings from chinese companies including Huawei Technology. A foldable iphone would let Apple make a device with a larger screen in a more pocketable package.
