  • WhatsApp Delayed New Privacy Policy Till May 15 Due To Severe Criticism.

WhatsApp has decided to delay the rollout of its new policy update to May 15 after a lot of  criticism from users globally, including India, over concerns that data was being shared with its parent company Facebook. The move assumes significance for users in India given that the country is among the biggest markets for WhatsApp with over 400 million users.

A raging debate ensued after WhatsApp said it will update its terms of service and privacy policy around how it processes user data and partners with Facebook to offer integrations across the social media giant's products. Concerned about the privacy of their data, many users have thronged to rival messaging platforms such as Signal and Telegram that have seen millions of downloads in the past few days.


  • Apple Is Temporarily Closing More Stores Due to Covid-19.
Apple Inc. is temporarily closing all of its retail stores across California, as well as those in the greater London area hit by a new lockdown, and other markets that have seen a surge in Covid-19 cases. 


The Cupertino, California, based company said on its website Saturday that it’s closing all 53 locations across the Golden State, a day after saying it would shut its stores in the Los Angeles area. The escalation of closures now covers its major locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Apple didn’t say when they would reopen.

This app has been brought two days ago, which has been downloaded by more than half a million (50 thousand) users in such a short time. The app is available on the Google Play store, where it received a 4.3 star rating.
