Reliance Jio has announced its intent to offer unlimited voice calls and unlimited data, with high speed 2GB data per month, to new users. The offers will be available from 1 March, across Reliance Retail and Jio retailers. “To accelerate the ‘2G-mukt Bharat’ movement, Jio has launched yet another offer that keeps affordability at the core of it, making the JioPhone and its services accessible to the 300 million feature phone users,” said a statement from the company.

Speaking on this occasion, Akash Ambani, director, Reliance Jio, commented: “There are still 300 million subscribers in India who remain ‘trapped’ in the 2G era, unable to access basic features of the internet, at a time, when the world stands at the cusp of a 5G revolution. Since the last 4 years Jio has democratized internet and passed on the benefits of technology to every Indian. Technology no longer remains a privilege of a select few. The New JioPhone 2021 offer is another step in that direction. At Jio, we have and will continue to take bold steps to eradicate this DIGITAL DIVIDE and welcome every Indian to JOIN THIS MOVEMENT.”

  • Huawei Seeking To Hold Talks With Biden Administration Over Its Trade Ban

Huawei Technologies’ founder Ren Zhengfei said on Tuesday it would be “extremely difficult” for the United States to end the sanctions that have crippled its phone business, but that he hoped the new U.S. administration would have an “open policy”.

Ren, who was making his first media appearance since March last year, said he hoped U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration would bear in mind U.S. business interests when forming its policy. He said it was “conducive” to the financial performance of U.S. companies to supply Chinese firms. Huawei achieved positive growth for both 2020 revenue and net profit, Ren said, adding that the company continued to see significant levels of confidence from its customers.

  • FAUG Team Deathmatch Mode Coming Soon: Akshay Kumar

It has been a month since FAUG launched in India back in January 26. And now  nCore Games has announced that the game is set to get its first multiplayer mode in the form of Team Deathmatch. This was announced by Akshay Kumar on his twitter handle with the text, "Find your friends, form your squad, fight for freedom! FAU-G’s multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode is coming soon!"

This should be an interesting turn for FAUG since the game was mostly panned in reviews considering that it only featured melee combat which most people felt made it a little to repetitive.
